This collection celebrates the enduring friendship and creative partnership between Leonardo Officina Italiana and Jonathon Brooks of Carolina Pen Company. Their collaboration began in 2017, when Salvatore Leonardo first contacted Brooks to acquire his distinctive PM1 resin rods — a partnership that has since flourished into a shared passion for craftsmanship and artistry.

Design Inspiration

Ocean Sunrise, finished with elegant gold trim, captures the breathtaking beauty of dawn over the sea. Deep, oceanic blues merge with glowing shades of orange and gold, evoking the serene moment when sunlight first meets water. Each pen reflects this vivid harmony of nature’s colors — a tranquil yet radiant scene frozen in resin.

Leonardo Officina Italiana was the first pen manufacturer to produce serial writing instruments using Jonathon Brooks’ materials, immediately recognizing their creative potential and resonance within the global pen community.
